Filiz Mit


Filiz Mit, as a founding partner and a senior consultant of Cube, brings 19 years of professional experience in the mix about how to conduct business on 3 different continents.

Starting out as a Key Account Executive at Xerox in 1991, Filiz engaged in active sales in a B2B environment where her clientele was mainly comprised of large sized businesses and public offices. She was first promoted as Commercial Sales Team Supervisor in 1993 and later next year, in 1994 she has undertaken the responsibility for managing the documentation operations for Xerox Business Services. Following her success in the Turkish market, in 1997 she has been assigned as the BDU Manager for Eurasia (Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, Turkic Republics); with her main responsibility being the establishment and application of the marketing strategies for Xerox Business Services. Later in 1999, Filiz relocated to Budapest, Hungary as a result of the expansion of Eurasia region to include Central and Eastern European Countries under her management.

In 2002, she was reassigned as the General Manager of both Czech and Slovak Republics, also being one of the only 2 country GMs in Xerox. Later in 2004, she was assigned as the Global Services General Manager for a region consisting of over 100 countries including Turkey, Russia, India, Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, North and South Africa.

During her carrier with Xerox, Filiz received a number of awards and merits for her success regarding sales, channel management, profibility improvement, business development, turn - around operations, customer satisfaction, employee motivation and crisis management.

In 2005, Filiz was appointed as the GM of Avon South Africa and has managed the strategic transformation project, within which all supply chain, marketing, production, sales and management processes were improved.

With her successful multinational management experience, upon returning to Turkey, she has offered consultancy and training services to a variety of businesses. Recently, she was actively involved as a project manager/consultant during the foundation of Yıldız Holding’s direct sales brand “Dore”, from the very initial feasibility assessments through the design of business processes and the recruitment of the top level management team.
